This privacy policy describes which personal data is processed when visiting weblilo.com and when getting in touch, for what purpose, and to whom the data is disclosed. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), acting as a processor. When a page is requested, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, requested address, referrer, and browser type and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website, keep it secure and stable, and detect misuse. It is not combined with other data and is not used for usage profiles. Log retention follows the terms of the hosting provider.
Contact form
When the contact form is submitted, the name, company (optional), email address, phone number (optional), selected interest, project description, selected language, and time of the inquiry are processed. Each inquiry receives a reference number. The details are used exclusively to handle the inquiry and for subsequent contact. Consent is given via the checkbox in the form and can be withdrawn at any time by email. To prevent misuse, the IP address is used briefly in the server's memory to limit the number of requests. It is not stored permanently and is not included in the emails.
Contact by email or phone
When getting in touch by email or phone, the details provided are used to handle the request. The mailbox contact@weblilo.com is operated on Microsoft 365 (Microsoft). Incoming emails and contact form inquiries are stored there.
Email delivery via Resend
The email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) is used as a processor to send the internal notification and the confirmation of receipt. The content of the inquiry and the email addresses of sender and recipient are transmitted to Resend. Sending is configured for the EU region (Ireland). Resend keeps delivery logs in accordance with its own privacy terms.
Disclosure abroad
Vercel, Resend, and Microsoft are based in the USA and may also process personal data in other countries whose level of data protection is not always considered adequate. Where personal data is disclosed to such a country, the disclosure relies on appropriate safeguards, in particular the providers' contractual data protection clauses such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the provider's certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Retention
Inquiries are kept in the Weblilo mailbox for as long as required to handle them and for any resulting business relationship, and are then deleted unless statutory retention obligations apply. Technical website logs do not contain the content of inquiries.
Cookies, fonts, and tracking
This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies or any analytics services. No usage profiles are created. When a language other than the browser's preferred language is opened, the website stores a technically necessary cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) with the selected language. It contains no personal data and is deleted when the browser is closed. Fonts are served from the website's own server; no connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is made when a page loads.
Data security
The connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS). Personal data is protected against unauthorised access by appropriate technical and organisational measures. Only the person handling inquiries has access to them.
Rights of data subjects
Data subjects have the right to request information about the personal data processed, to have incorrect data corrected and data deleted, to object to the processing, and to request the release or transfer of their data. Requests can be sent to contact@weblilo.com. Data subjects may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated when the website, the services used, or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies.
